How a 14/14 swing works

Swaps and changes

  1. Ask your supervisor first; both people must be competent for the swapped work.
  2. Request it in the Rostering form at least 72 hours before the shift.
  3. Rostering checks fatigue and fitness rules before approving.
  4. You get a confirmation message. Without it, the swap is not valid.

Fatigue limits apply to every swap. You cannot work more than 14 hours in a day or more than 7 consecutive 12-hour shifts without a break. See the Fatigue Management policy in the Policy Center.
