Ridgeline People Hub
Goal: by day 90 you can work safely and independently in your role, you know your crew, and you have a development plan.
| When | Focus | What good looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Before day 1 | Paperwork and travel | Contract signed, medical booked, flights confirmed, bank details in the HR portal |
| Day 1 to 3 | Site induction | Induction passed, access card issued, PPE fitted, camp room allocated |
| Week 1 | Buddy shifts | Working alongside an experienced buddy; you know your crew, radio channels and emergency points |
| Day 30 | Check-in 1 | Supervisor reviews your progress, tickets and any worries; goals agreed |
| Day 60 | Competency sign-off | Assessed on your core tasks; gaps get a training plan |
| Day 90 | Probation review | Formal review with your supervisor and HR; confirmation of employment |
Every new starter gets a buddy: an experienced colleague in the same crew who shows you the ropes, answers the small questions and keeps an eye on you in the first shifts. Your buddy does not replace your supervisor. They are your first call when you are unsure.
