Answers to common questions about using Certifyd.
My logo doesn't show on certificates. Upload the logo as an image in Settings › Branding (a typed logo URL isn't used by library designs). A transparent PNG works best. Certificates generated before you changed the logo keep the old one until you regenerate them.
Generating says my organization name is missing. Library designs need either a logo or an issuer name. Add one in Settings › Branding.
Can I leave the organization name empty? Yes, as long as you've uploaded a logo. If your logo already contains your name, leave the issuer name empty and designs print just the logo.
Does the sign-up form use credits? No. Credits are only used when you generate certificates.
How do people check a certificate is real? They scan the QR code or open the short link printed on it. See The verification page.
What happens when a certificate expires? Its status changes to Expired on the verification page and in your lists. Nothing is deleted. See Certificate expiry.
Can I issue certificates in Spanish? Yes. Designs are available in English and Spanish, and the app, sign-up form and verification page switch between both with the EN / ES toggle.
I issued a certificate by mistake. Revoke it, or delete it from its page if it was never sent.
