Contract lines
The lines say which goods come in: product, quantity and price. They are edited while the contract is in Draft. A line that already had a receipt, an invoice or a shipment can neither be modified nor removed.
Adding lines one by one
- Press Add line. A new row opens with the product box active.
- Type part of the SKU or the description and pick the product. Its description, unit of measure and catalogue price are copied.
- Type the quantity (greater than zero) and, if it differs from the catalogue, the price.
- Enter moves to the next field and, on the last line, adds a new one. The ↑ ↓ arrows change line in the same field; Tab moves to the next field.
The pencil on each row opens the edit dialog (SKU, description, quantity, price); the arrows reorder; the X removes.
Pasting from a spreadsheet
The fastest way when the importer sends its list in Excel:
- In the spreadsheet, copy the cells with three columns: product code, quantity, price (price is optional).
- In aduanasHQ, click on the lines table and press Ctrl+V (or use the Paste lines from the clipboard button).
- A preview shows what each row will add and, when a row cannot be added, why (unknown product, invalid quantity, repeated product).
- Confirm and the lines are created.
Importing an Excel file
Data > Import lines loads an .xlsx file with the columns Sku, Quantity and Price. Data > Export lines downloads the current lines in that same format; it doubles as a template.
Warnings in the table
- without price: counts the lines with an empty or zero price; they are highlighted in yellow. It does not block the release, but complete it because the price is copied to the invoice.
- repeated: the same product on more than one line. Picking a product already on the document warns immediately.
- Zero or negative quantities are rejected.
- Pressing Release first asks whether the lines are complete.
After release
Besides the ordered quantity, the table shows the Received, Committed and Shipped columns, and the block header the totals of quantity, received and amount. Every line has its own Changes link.
