📋 Working with lists

Working with lists

Every list in aduanasHQ (contracts, invoices, Products, users...) works the same way.

Searching and filtering

  • The search box in the list bar searches every text column at once. What you type stays in the browser address, so you can share an already-filtered list.
  • Press / to jump to the search box and Enter to open the selected row.
  • Every column has its own filter (funnel icon in the header): equals, contains, greater than, between dates, and so on.
  • Click a header to sort; a second click reverses the order.

Columns

The columns button in the bar shows or hides columns; drag them to change their order and width.

Saved views

The Views button saves the current combination of columns, order, filters and page size under a name (Save current view). Later you can return to it, update it (Update view), delete it, or go back to the Default view. Views are per user and per list.

Export to Excel

The Excel Export button in the bar downloads what the list shows at that moment, filters applied. Some read-only lists (for example a user's modules) have no export.

Selecting several rows

The contract and invoice lists have a checkbox column. When several rows are ticked, the buttons that apply to the selection appear at the top: Approve, Release, To draft, each with the number of documents that qualify. At the end a summary says how many were processed and how many were skipped, and why.

Opening a record

Click the code or the name (shown as a link) to open the detail. With Ctrl held it opens in another tab.

Paging

At the foot of the list you choose how many rows per page. While it loads a placeholder is shown; a list with no results says so plainly instead of staying blank.
