🔑 Signing in and your account

Signing in and your account

Signing in

  1. Open your company's aduanasHQ address in the browser (an up-to-date Chrome, Edge or Safari).
  2. Type your username and password.
  3. Tick Remember me if it is your own computer: the session is kept for 30 days.
  4. Press Login.

Your administrator creates the account and gives you the username. Language, time zone and the date and number formats come from your user profile and, when you have none of your own, from the company's settings.

Forgot your password

On the login page use Forgot your password?, type your username and confirm. A new password is sent to the email address on your profile. For safety only one reset per account is allowed every 15 minutes.

Account protection

  • After 10 failed attempts the account is locked for 15 minutes.
  • Every attempt (successful, failed, locked, resets) is listed under Setup > System > User sessions, with the address and device.
  • If your company set a password policy (minimum length, upper case, numbers, special characters, expiry), the application enforces it when you change the password and warns you ahead of time when it is about to expire.

Changing your password

Open the user menu (your name, top right) and choose Change password. The current password and the new one twice are requested.

Your profile

In the user menu, Profile opens your record: name, email, language, time zone, localization and the menu the application should open with (Default menu). Changes are saved field by field, as you leave each one.

Signing out

User menu > Logout. Idle sessions expire on their own after the time your company configured.
