Branding the portal

logisticaHQ Client Portal
Branding the portal

Your logo appears on the portal sign-in page, so clients know they are in your portal. This page shows where to upload your logo, where the client's own logo goes and how the portal picks its language. Only administrators can change these settings.

Your company logo

  1. Open Setup > System > Tenant. The screen's own breadcrumb reads Setup > Tenant configuration.
  2. In the section list on the left, choose Branding. The card's hint reads "How your sign-in page and documents look. Changes show in the preview right away."
  3. Find the tile Company logo. Its hint reads "On the sign-in pages, the menu bar, the client portal and your documents."
  4. Click the upload link (it reads Upload...) and choose your logo file.
  5. The message "Image has been uploaded successfully" appears and both previews update. Images need no Save.

The Branding card with the Company logo tile and the two live previews

The Branding section of the company settings, with the company logo uploaded and both live previews showing it.

To remove the logo, click Remove on the same tile.

Where your logo appears

PlaceHow it shows
The portal sign-in pageOn the dark blue panel, once, on a light plate so that a dark logo stays readable. Without an uploaded logo, the page shows the logisticaHQ logo instead.
The office sign-in pageAbove the sign-in box.
The menu bar of the office appIn the top bar.
DocumentsPack slips, Invoices, receiving slips and other documents print your logo, unless a client or a customer logo takes its place.

The two live previews on the Branding card show your sign-in pages as they will look: Live preview of your sign-in page (the office sign-in) and Live preview of your client portal sign-in.

Below the logo is the row Welcome Message. It is the greeting on the office sign-in page only. It does not appear on the portal sign-in page. This row waits for the save bar: click Update to keep it or Discard to drop it.

File rules and tips

  • Use a PNG or JPEG file up to 5 MB. Other types and bigger files are refused. If the file is too big you see "Cannot upload, file exceeds maximum limit [5 Mb]". The server checks the file as well as the browser, and it reads the type from the file itself, so renaming a file does not get it through. A file that is not a PNG or JPEG picture, such as a PDF or a GIF, is refused with "Cannot upload, the logo must be a PNG or JPEG picture. Choose a PNG or JPEG file and try again."
  • Use a wide logo, such as your name next to your mark, on a transparent or white background. On the sign-in page the logo is small (about 90 pixels wide), so keep it simple.
  • The portal never stretches a logo. It keeps its proportions and sets the height.
  • A new upload shows right away. If you still see the old one, reload the page.

Your client's own logo

Inside the portal, after sign-in, the top of the menu shows your client's logo and company name, not yours. If a client has no logo, a small warehouse icon appears instead.

  1. Open Setup > 3PL > Clients and open the client.
  2. Go to the Setup tab and open the block Document printing (it starts collapsed).
  3. Find Company Logo and click Upload image.... Choose a PNG or JPEG file up to 5 MB. The same limits and messages apply as for the company logo.

The Document printing block of a client with the Company Logo

The Document printing block of a client card, with an image uploaded as the Company Logo.

This logo is also printed on that client's documents. The name shown beside it is the client's Company name (or its Name if the company name is empty).

Language

The portal speaks English and Spanish. Which language people see depends on where they are.

WhereWhich language
The portal sign-in pageFirst the language the visitor picked with the language button on the page (the portal remembers it in that browser). If nobody has picked one, your company's default language. If your company has none set, English. The button always offers English and Español, and also your company's language when it is a third one.
Inside the portal, after sign-inThe language set on the user (Language in the Where they start section of the user's Account tab). If the user's language is <Inherit>, your company's default language. The portal has no language button after sign-in, so you change the language on the user.
The office sign-in pageYour company's default language. There is no language button.

To set your company's default language, open Setup > System > Tenant, section Company and address, and choose the Language. The hint reads "The default for new users. Each user can choose their own." Click Update in the save bar to keep it. The default also applies to every user whose language is <Inherit>, and to the sign-in pages.

Important: Dates and numbers in the portal always use the English style, such as Sep 24, 2026 and 1,234.50, in every language. A label that has no translation shows in English. If a client reports English words in a Spanish session, note the label and ask P4 Software support to add the translation.
