Truck Load Shipping generates a Bill of Lading and allows you to put several orders on one trailer shipment.
In the screen above you will see there are four different orders Shipping on the same trailer, all the required information about the load is captured on the Truck Load screen. This data is used to create the Bill of Lading.
Orders can be added to a bill of lading one at a time or in bulk depending on your processes.
Once the Truck Load screen is set to Stage the BOL button will be available.
Signatures are captured on the PDT by going into the Truck Load shipment screen.
If you have your own delivery trucks logisticaHQ can manage the delivery to the end user, complete with GPS order tracking, delivery photos and Customer signature.
By selecting count on delivery or sign on delivery the order will stay open in logisticaHQ until the order is delivered.
The delivery driver will need to acquire a signature on delivery and will have the option to take photos of the delivery.
Order Staging allows an order to be pre-picked. This is commonly used for orders that are Shipping by Ocean Freight and must be ready when the boat arrives, or due to some other unknow factors the trailer did not arrive and the order needs to be moved to a bin location to wait for the trailer.
Once a pallet is picked in most cases it can be staged to an overstock bin location.
