Tray Analytics

Tray Analytics — LogisticaHQ

Applies to: LogisticaHQ (P4 Warehouse) tenants with tray management enabled Roles required: Office users with dashboard access Regulatory references: none

Overview

Every completed tray cycle — dispatch through reconcile, including trays that came back untouched — is kept as history. Four ready-made dashboard widgets read that history so you can see how hard each tray works, how long cycles take, and which trays sit idle.

Seeding the Widgets

  1. Navigate to Trays > Expiry.
  2. Click Other > Seed tray Reports.

This creates the four widgets below (plus the "Tray expiring contents" scheduled report). Seeding is idempotent — widgets that already exist are left untouched.

Adding Widgets to a Dashboard

The widgets appear in the standard widget library. Add them to any dashboard under Reports & KPI > Dashboards the same way as any other widget.

The Four Widgets

Widget Shows Presentation
Trays by state How many trays sit in each lifecycle state right now. Pie chart + detail table
Tray cycle time (90d) Average days a tray spends out per completed cycle, last 90 days. Single number
Idle trays (14d+) Ready trays with no completed cycle in 14 or more days — Inventory sitting still. Table (tray, description, idle days)
Tray dispatches (90d) Completed cycles per tray in the last 90 days — the utilization ranking. Bar chart + detail table

Notes

  • Cycle history starts accumulating from the day this feature went live; cycle-time and utilization widgets fill up as trays complete their first cycles.
  • A tray returned complete still counts as a completed cycle — utilization measures trips, not billing.
  • The widget queries are ordinary widgets: administrators can open them under Reports & KPI > Widgets and adjust thresholds (for example the 14-day idle cutoff) like any other widget.
