Warehouses

Warehouses

In CifraHQ, a Warehouse is any location where you hold Inventory — a main distribution centre, a satellite store, a delivery van, or a third-party facility. Every Inventory transaction is tied to a specific warehouse, so your stock counts stay accurate and location-specific without any manual reconciliation.

Where to find it

Go to Master Data > Logistics > Warehouses (or Quick Guide > Warehouse Setup during initial Setup).

Warehouses list page in CifraHQ.

Warehouses list, every physical and logical stock location.

How to create a Warehouse

  1. Click New.
  2. Enter a Code (short identifier, e.g., MAIN, WH2, STORE-A).
  3. Enter a Name and optional Description.
  4. Save — the warehouse detail page opens.
  5. Fill in the address, email, phone, and shipping route as needed.

Tips

  • Assign Users a Default Warehouse in their user profile to pre-populate the warehouse field on every new transaction they create — eliminating a repetitive selection step.
  • Use Warehouse Transfers to move stock between locations. CifraHQ records the outbound shipment and inbound receipt separately, keeping both warehouses' balances correct throughout transit.
  • The Inventory Report can be filtered by warehouse to see stock levels per location at a glance.
