Master Dashboards

Master Dashboards are the Stimulsoft analytics dashboard templates maintained at the system level. Each template is designed once in the Stimulsoft designer and then deployed to any tenant account, giving every customer polished, data-driven Dashboards without per-tenant design work.

Go to Admin > Master Dashboards (system administrator access required).

How it works

CifraHQ ships three built-in customer-facing analytics Dashboards:

Each dashboard is backed by a Stimulsoft .mrt template stored in the system. The template queries live tenant data and renders charts, KPIs, and tables inside the tenant UI.

Seeding built-in Dashboards

When CifraHQ is first deployed, the built-in templates need to be seeded into the system:

1. Go to Admin > Master Dashboards.
2. Click Seed Built-in Dashboards.
3. Wait for the confirmation - the three default templates are written to the master template store.

You only need to seed once. After seeding, templates can be customized per the instructions below.

Deploying a dashboard to a tenant

After seeding (or after editing a template), deploy to a tenant:

1. Open the Select tenant to deploy dropdown.
2. Choose the target tenant.
3. Click Deploy to Tenant.

Deployment copies the current master template into the tenant's report library. The tenant immediately sees the dashboard at their dashboard route. Re-deploy any time you update the master template to push the latest design to that tenant.

Deploying to a tenant overwrites their existing version of that dashboard template. Custom edits made directly in a tenant's Print Reports page will be replaced.

Editing a template

Templates are Stimulsoft .mrt files and are edited in the Stimulsoft designer embedded in the admin console:

1. Click the template name in the Master Dashboards list.
2. The Stimulsoft designer opens.
3. Modify charts, add data bands, change KPI thresholds, update color schemes.
4. Save.
5. Re-deploy to tenants that should receive the updated design.

Relationship to Print Reports

Master dashboard templates flow into the tenant's Print Reports library with EntityType set to PayrollDashboard, PurchasingDashboard, or SalesPersonDashboard. CifraHQ uses these entity-type tags to resolve which template to show on each dashboard page. Do not change these entity-type values on deployed templates or the dashboard pages will show an empty state.
